Admissions Process

Chesterbrook accepts applications for enrollment throughout the school year based on available classroom space for the coming semester. Here is how our process works:

  • Read the information on our website.
  • Send us an email to set up an appointment with a director. Please note the campus and age you would like observe.
  • Parent Visit: We encourage both parents to visit the school. When you visit, you will meet the Admissions Director, tour the facility, and observe children in their daily learning activities in the classrooms. This is a good time to learn more about the Montessori teaching philosophy. Please read our guidelines for observing.
  • Application: We accept applications throughout the year for enrollment. Pending a review of the application, if space is available, you will receive a letter of acceptance and an enrollment agreement. Your child's space will be reserved upon receipt of the signed enrollment agreement. If the program for your child's age is full, your child may be placed on a wait list until a space becomes available. We encourage parents to complete the application for admission as early as possible. The trend in our area for school programs is touring in January and notification by March. However – we will accept applications prior to this traditional time-frame; this allows for a less-stressful application experience. We are able to do this because Montessori has a three-year cycle and we usually know what space we will have. We reserve spaces for current families with younger siblings and we are a first come first serve admissions program.
